Activities

The Land

Lily Springs Farm is a 100-acre retreat comprised of a 40-acre spring fed lake, 40 acres of hardwood forest and pine plantation, 20 acres of fields/open areas, all of which are gradually being cultivated according to the principles of permaculture. We are available for private rentals and we are working on a variety of classes and events that will be open to all.

Onsite Resources

We have a dock, 2 kayaks and a canoe, and trails for hiking or cross-country skiing. Star watch, fire gaze by our outdoor fire pits, swim, paddle, read/doze in a hammock, wander or explore the many resources of the local area.  Relax and take a chill off in our lakeside sauna. Enjoy the open-air living room/sleeping area of our screened granary right next to the water. Or take advantage of the way the farmhouse living room has been designed with maximum flexibility for coziness, meetings, or whatever workshop, art project or movement class you can imagine.

Open to the Public

Our public programming will include green building projects, permaculture design and installation classes, outdoor theater performances and yoga classes, healing retreats, local food events, art fairs, music shows and festivals. Come learn to pickle or come for the horse logging of our pine plantation. Check (and keep checking–we will be updating frequently) our calendar for dates and our Blog for what we are excited about.

Lily Springs Farm is a community resource. Come connect with the natural world, with yourself, with your family or friends, with a work group–or use our facilities for a wedding or class of your own.
