Kickoff Feast: Summer Collaborative Event Series
On June 27th, Lily Springs Farm launched the 1st of our summer event series bringing together people across diverse fields and disciplines to create, collaborate, and inspire. The day’s activities revolved around three main ideas – community, art and food – where we had artists, architects, innovators, and passionate individuals contributing their unique skills and creativity to build community and jump start summer projects. Projects included a workshop in mushroom inoculation, foraging, tree logging, and mural design. The day culminated with a dinner created by Chris Olson, chef at Meritage in St. Paul and founder of Paired, followed by an evening of music, feasting, and camping.
